1. What This Covers
EditorVault publishes written video editing guides and a small set of printable cheat sheets. This page covers both. It does not cover a stock library, because there is not one — we do not host or redistribute third-party footage, music, LUTs, presets or template files.
The guide text, the cheat sheet layouts and the site design are our own original work. That is what we are licensing to you here.
2. Free for Any Use, Including Commercial
The guides and cheat sheets are free to read, download and apply — in personal projects, in paid client work, in monetized videos, and inside a company or classroom. You do not need to ask permission and you do not owe us a fee or a credit.
The one boundary is redistribution: use the material, do not republish or resell it. See the Not Allowed list above.
3. Third-Party Software and Footage
The guides reference Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro and CapCut for identification only. EditorVault is independent and not affiliated with Adobe, Blackmagic Design, Apple or ByteDance, and this license grants you no rights in their software or trademarks.
Screenshots and demonstration frames in the guides illustrate a technique. They are not stock footage and are not licensed for reuse in your own projects.
4. Your Own Work
You are responsible for making sure your finished edit does not violate music rights, footage rights, platform rules, trademark rights, privacy rights or client agreements. A guide explaining how to key a green screen says nothing about whether you hold the rights to the clip you are keying.
To the extent allowed by law, EditorVault is not liable for copyright strikes, platform decisions or damages arising from work you produce after reading a guide.
5. Copyright Reports
We respect creators’ rights. If you believe something on EditorVault infringes your copyright, the DMCA page explains how to submit a takedown request and we will review it promptly.
That includes guide text or a cheat sheet you believe was copied from you — tell us and we will investigate rather than argue.
6. No Warranty
The guides are provided as available. We keep them accurate and current, but editing applications change their menus and defaults without notice, and we cannot guarantee that every step matches your version, codec, device or workflow.
If a cheat sheet link is broken or a guide step is wrong, contact us with the page URL so it can be corrected.
